To our dear Makenna Lynn,We can't believe you are turning 2 today! Although Mommy and Daddy aren't there to celebrate your actual birth day with you, our hearts are with you! We hope Nana is spoiling you well on your birthday and giving you lots of treats, hugs, and kisses.
In the past year you have grown up so much, and soon you will be a big sister. You have grown to love all babies and dolls and are a little mommy to them (ex. going up to babies who are complete strangers in public and patting their head, saying hi, or talking to them), you love your "pretties", you have an infatuation with carrying purses or other similar objects just to have them in your hand...and if anything falls out you can't handle it! :) You have an outgoing personality, are very independent, can be charming, sometimes silly, always loving, and full of life. Your vocabulary has increased by leaps and bounds, and we are always surprised at what you copy us or Kaden saying, or what you come up with on your own. Daddy loves to hear you say "i?" for why, "hit tere" for right here, and "gaffe" for giraffe...he often will ask you questions just to hear you answer them in your cute way. You have also learned how to count to 10 (missing 4 every time :)), and are starting to learn songs and the alphabet. You love to color, play with Kaden, and go outside. You are also starting to use the potty like a big girl and are sleeping in a big girl bed, sharing a room with Kaden!
We can't wait to see what God has in store for you in the coming year as you become a big sister and have fun being TWO! We pray that God will bless you, give you a kind heart, and that you will always love Him. Never forget how much Daddy, Mommy, and Kaden love you...and soon your baby brother or sister!
