We got Makenna a 16 inch bike this winter that was a great deal (thanks, Aunt Becky)! We didn't have any intention of her learning how to ride it this summer after her first attempt on the bike. The pedals were still a little out of reach and she had no idea how to steer! :) She has surprised us this spring, though, with her determination to ride her PINK bike. A couple weeks ago she figured out how to pedal and also got the steering down in a matter of 5 minutes one day. She loves her big girl bike and Mommy rewarded her hard work and new skill by making her a bike basket (pinterest idea :)). She loves her basket and had to put a few little things in there first thing this morning when she saw it on her bike! She is still learning how to stop going down our sloped driveway and her legs could be a little longer (it's cute to watch her legs reach as she pedals), but she loves riding her bike and gets better every day! We think she is a pretty cute "biker chic"! :)

Super Cute Em! We also got Owen a 16 inch bike and I cannot believe how fast they pick up on it....we ride it EVERYDAY.
