Makenna is 3!

(Disclaimer...I just realized I haven't been great at writing these birthday letters for each year and each child...time to get on top of that this year, I guess...starting today with Makenna!)

Dear "Pretty Girl",

You are one spunky girl who always has a lot to say or many questions to ask, and you know what you want every moment of the day.  Some say you look just like your mommy and act just like your mommy (Papa Mejeur)!  You are full of energy, loving, sweet, affectionate, full of personality (and drama :)), strong-willed, very independent, and fearless.  You love God and aren't afraid to tell others, sing songs at the top of your lungs, and pray out loud- it is so precious!

Daddy and Mommy can't believe you are 3 already...where has the time gone?!  You know how to ride a big bike with training wheels, ride a scooter, brush your hair & teeth, take a bath on your own, get dressed & undressed, go potty on your own, write a few letters, identify most of the letters in the alphabet, count to 10 or more at times, and help around the house.  You love your baby, "Bitty Betsy", and other dolls too, you love doing puzzles, and your absolute favorite activity right now is coloring.  I think you could color all day every day (and are finally learning to keep the coloring on the paper and NOTHING else)!  You are very opinionated about your clothes and sometimes hair, and also about Bitty's clothes...your style is like no one else's we have ever seen! ;)

Kenna Lynn, you are a sweet girl who loves to help with Ainsley, give us all your best hugs & kisses, rub or scratch our backs and arms lovingly when snuggling, and play with Kaden, who is your best friend who you want to do everything with and be JUST like!  You are brave, like trying to roller skate, riding on the sea-doo and behind the boat tubing all by yourself, climbing at playgrounds, and also doing some crazy ideas of Kaden's that he's a little too fearful to do.  You are brave and tough and fearless- where do you get that from!?  All girl, into pink & princesses, but love to play cars and get dirty too. 

God made you so special and we are proud to be your parents!  We thank God for blessing us with YOU every day.  We cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for you in the years ahead, and we pray for you every day that you will always love Jesus and be the sweet girl God made you to be!
