Kaden had his 9 month doctor visit this morning and seems to be growing well. He is 21 lbs. (50th percentile), 30 1/4 in. long (95th percentile), and his head circumference is 46 cm (70th percentile...must be a Mejeur head :)). The doctor wasn't concerned that Kaden is just starting to try to crawl a little, but did say Kaden probably wouldn't be walking at his 1st birthday. So, as his goal-driven, optimistic mommy, I'm determined to make sure we prove our doctor wrong! :) "Crawling & Walking School" begins tomorrow for Kaden. Ha, ha... Kaden is happiest these days standing up next to toys, us, or furniture. I wouldn't be surprised if he skipped the crawling stage, as he already loves to pull up onto things with a little help and walk holding onto our hands. We'll see...Kaden has always been "in charge" with timing...when he decided to arrive 4 days overdue as a baby, when he decided to roll and sit up, and so on! He is still quite a happy little boy full of laughs and smiles, and such a joy in our lives each and every day. We love him SO much!
