Happy girl in her dress3 John 1:4 says, "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth." I pray that Mitch and I can claim this verse someday to be true of our children, and was so excited to experience another baptism of one of our children today!
Makenna was such a wonderful little girl on her baptism day! Aside from pooping all over her changing table before heading to church, she was such a pretty angel in her baptism dress made by Nana Mejeur (with just a little help from me- thanks, Mom, for all your hard work on the dress!). Everyone at church loved her dress and thought she was so cute (most people also mentioned those chubby cheeks :))! Makenna was wide awake during most of the church service, didn’t fuss or cry at all in the front of church while being baptized, smiled at Pastor Bosscher when he showed her off to the church, took a little nap in my arms during the sermon, and woke up content for the rest of the service. We had a light lunch at church with family afterwards, and once Makenna got her bottle she was happy and soon fell back asleep before we made it home again.
