Happy 5th Birthday, Kaden Gregory!

Dear Kaden,

FIVE!!!!!  We can't believe our first child, and our only boy, is turning five years old.  Where has the time gone?  You sure have grown and with each year our love grows for you more and more.

You are ALL BOY...your favorite thing right now is sports.  You love to play sports, watch sports live or on TV, talk about sports, wear sports clothing, and check the iPod and newspaper for sports scores.  Your attention to sports and all your knowledge on sports at the age of 5 amazes us!  You are a chip off the old block for sure when it comes to sports, and Dad loves it! :)

You started preschool at Hudsonville Christian this year and go twice a week.  You are a good student who loves to learn.  You are quiet, but share what you know from time to time.  You are a kind friend and enjoy playing with others.  You have started to write your name "Kaden" instead of "KADEN", you are learning new songs, and coloring and making crafts has become one of your favorite things to do.

One of the things we love most about you, Kaden, is that you are the BEST big brother we could ask for!  You are a great playmate for Makenna.  You both love to color together, make up games together, and do almost everything together.  You are also so sweet to Ainsley and give her a lot of your attention when she is playing by you.  You love to make her laugh, try and teach her new words to say, and help take care of her.  You are very protective of both of your little sisters, often holding their hands (at home, but also at church :))!

We are so proud of you, buddy!  We can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for you in the next 5 years of your life.  You love Jesus and are always eager to hear Bible stories, share details you remember from Bible stories, and pray to God daily.  You love to go to Worship Centers at church every Sunday and learn so much there every week too.  Your Bible knowledge has also grown from our Wednesday morning BSF classes, as we learn about the book of Genesis together.

Always remember Who made you so special and loves you so much- God!  Dad & Mom love you so much too and will always be here for you.
