After attending a wonderful Easter church service, we headed to Kalamazoo to celebrate Easter with some of my family. Knowing that the morning would be very busy getting 2 children dressed in their Easter best, arriving at church early for a good seat, and then driving to Kalamazoo for a great Easter dinner, we did some fun Easter things with Kaden on Saturday. We did a little egg hunt and Easter basket surprise. Kaden found eggs around the house for himself and for Makenna. He thought it was so fun finding the eggs around the house, and was truly surprised with every egg he discovered! His expressions were great, and it was also cute as he shared the eggs he found by putting them in Makenna's Easter bag...usually the pink & purple eggs! (where he learned that those were "girl colors"...I have no idea!) He was quite excited when he started opening the eggs and finding all the candy. We also had a little Easter basket hidden for him to find which had a few fun things in it...a large chocolate bunny, a CARS book, and a small Mickey Mouse coloring book/sticker book. He was quite excited about his CARS book, as you can see! :)

(Due to lack of time on Sunday morning and a little girl who spit up on her dress several times during church...more cute pictures of Kaden & Makenna in their Easter duds are coming...once they are washed and we can have a little photo shoot! :))
