Army Crawler

Makenna is 8 months old now! She has been rocking on all fours for a few weeks now, and just when she turned 8 months she started army crawling at the cottage. She would cry and fuss the last few weeks when she couldn't get where she wanted to go by rolling, so she is a bit happier now that she has figured out how to move on her tummy. It's so cute to watch her around the house now, although she's getting into so much more! We are still working on potty training, and Kaden has been doing well lately, so when she sees he and I head to the bathroom she follows too. Every now and then she'll get up on all fours again and try and crawl the normal way, but she hasn't quite figured that out yet. Kaden didn't crawl until 9 1/2 months, so this feels a little crazy to have her crawling already! She has also discovered how to sit up from laying on her back, and this also makes her so much happier now that she's figured this skill out. Makenna is becoming quite the big girl....where did our baby go? The next milestone will hopefully be her first tooth, as she has been teething forever with still no tooth to prove her drooling, runny nose, dirty diapers, and fussiness. Kaden got his first tooth at 7 months, so it's interesting to see how different the two of them are already.
