Wild Weekends

1st tube rides of the summer

Ainsley enjoying the cottage

Icy pops break during wiffle ball games for the boys
Where is Ainsley?  Creative nap time spot in the closet at the cottage!

Makenna and her bestie, Brett ;)

Proud boys caught a BIG large mouth bass...haven't caught fish this big in awhile at the cottage!

Outdoor fun on Sunday at Papa and Nana Mejeur's in Kalamazoo (celebrating Father's Day a week early)
Hoping Kaden has no fear like this during his swimming lessons next week! :)

Sky and Kenna playing in the pool

Despite a black eye from colliding with Kaden, Makenna was entertainment for us all on the slip n' slide!

Cousin fun...nothing beats it!
Not SO wild...but we are enjoying the cottage and summer fun so far with both sides of the family!  Last weekend went without pictures, but we celebrated my 31st birthday with my parents as Mitch was on a golf trip all weekend.  We enjoyed a pancake breakfast at my grandparents' new place at Park Village Pines, the Do-Dah Parade in Kalamazoo with cousins, lots of swinging on Papa's swing, seeing baby birds in a nest, and good eating & company (help for mom) all weekend!  This past weekend we had a date night, time at the cottage, and also time in Kalamazoo for Father's Day early.  It was a busy weekend, but lots of fun, as you can see!  You know it's a good weekend when you have a quiet car with 3 kids sleeping Sunday night on the way home...:)

Ainsley is now 5 months old and doing more and more each day...eating in her high chair, rolling from back to tummy too often (causing sleep issues sometimes), growling/talking/jabbering/giggling often as she plays on the floor, and she also has found her little piggies (which I need a picture of!).  We love watching her grow, but wish she would slow down just a bit!  Kaden and Makenna are enjoying summer so far and being outside so much...farmers' tans are quickly becoming summer tans and the swim suits are out almost daily.  We are enjoying the busy life of our family this summer so far! :)
