Groupon was selling bowling coupons for none other than the Hudsonville Lanes a few months ago! I decided to buy the coupon, thinking it would be a fun thing to do with Kaden. Tonight the 3 of us went and left Makenna with her Papa & Nana Bareman...can't imagine her running around the bowling alley with us! ;) We went bumper bowling, enjoyed some nachos, pop & candy while bowling, and then went out to dinner. It was a fun date and Kaden loved the special Mommy & Daddy attention!

One technique Kaden used was rolling the bowling ball... 
He also enjoyed the ball return area...even with his mom warning him about pinched fingers and balls dropping on his toes...he insisted on carrying his bowling balls... 
...and thankfully he only dropped his ball once...and it landed back in the ball return! (I was lucky to catch this on camera :)) 
A second technique Kaden liked was using the ramp... 
He also liked celebrating good frames with Daddy! 
Being silly with Mommy
By the end of the second game, Kaden was playing his frame all by himself, but his final technique was closer to throwing the bowling ball than rolling it gracefully down the lane! :)
