Merry Christmas! We woke up late on Christmas morning after a late night of celebrating on Christmas Eve. We had a wonderful Christmas service at church, and then we went home and opened our family gifts that were under the tree. Mitch and I gave each other the painting of our kitchen as a gift (exciting, huh!? :)), so all the presents were for Kaden & Makenna! They enjoyed taking turns opening gifts, and Kaden's favorite gift was probably his new remote control car and Makenna's favorite gift was probably her new Barbie doll, Rapunzel, that Kaden picked out for her. After a quick lunch, we headed to Kalamazoo to celebrate with the Mejeur family and see the Staperts for a bit too. It was another great day, nice to drive on clear roads, and the kids loved playing with their cousins again and seeing Papa & Nana!
