I recently dug out this stool that I had in my classroom for Kaden to use in his bathroom to brush his teeth. He thinks he's pretty BIG stuff standing on the stool to brush! :) This is part of our nightly routine before heading to bed:
1) Read books with Mommy, Teddy & Mi-mi (blanket);
2) Brush teeth with Teddy's help;
3) Find Daddy for prayers and bedtime- this consists of snuggling with Mommy, putting Teddy "night-night" in the crib, giving Mi-mi to Daddy, saying goodnight to Mommy, and being handed off to Daddy to be put down.
It's quite a routine, but he loves it! Speaking of bedtimes...we are in the process of buying stuff for his sports big boy room, and he already is playing in his new room (across from the nursery) and going "night-night" (pretend) on the bed. He knows this is his big boy room and we hope he starts sleeping there by the end of the summer!

Good luck with the big boy bed. We just started Abby in her big girl bed this week. She hasn't fallen out... yet.
