Let the Summer Begin!

We spent the weekend at the cottage for Memorial Day getting everything ready for the summer. As challenging as it will be to watch Kaden by the water this summer, we are really looking forward to our time there as he is old enough to enjoy everything there more!! On Memorial Day, we spent the morning in Kalamazoo for a parade with my parents. This was Kaden's second parade (Tulip Time last year at 5 months old was his 1st :)), and he really loved it! Some highlights were getting candy, petting some police dogs, seeing horses, listening to a few high school bands (and dancing with the music :)), and hearing plenty of loud sirens from the army trucks and fire trucks. We had a great weekend, and can't wait for all the summer days ahead!!
