We have begun our "Baby Training"...we bought Kaden this baby doll the other day in order to help him understand how to take care of babies. He understood the concept right away, and asked to give the baby a bottle. He likes to say "baby sleeping- shh..." or "baby crying". He also likes to give the baby a "bot" as he calls it (pacifier), but will not let the baby have one of his two "bots" that he still uses. We were hoping he would give them to this baby so that we could get rid of them before our baby comes...looks like we'll have to try Plan B on that one...which is to tell him that he can't sleep in his big boy bed with a pacifier. Hopefully that one will work and we can get rid of them in the next few weeks!! :)
We see lots of toads in our yard. Kaden calls them "froggies" and "ribbits" and hops with them. He loves to find them in the yard, but as soon as they hop or move he gets a little scared of them. His mommy is thankful that he doesn't want to touch or hold them yet!! :)
You always need a picture of your child eating a popsicle in the summer, don't you!? As a child, I always loved it when my mom made us our own popsicles, so I found a special tupperware to do this for Kaden too. He loves to eat popsicles out on our deck at his picnic table! He calls them "-sicles" when he sees me get them out and then runs to the slider to go out onto the deck. :)

We had an easy time getting rid of Ashley's pacifier- the dog ate it!! A good idea that a friend told me is to "pay" for a new something special with the pacifiers. Have him pick out a new "big-boy" toy and then take it to a cashier and have him pay or trade in the baby pacifiers for the big boy toy (then pay when he's not looking!!)... hope everything is going well!
