We spent the weekend at the cottage enjoying the 4th of July! Despite a flurry of mosquitoes all weekend long and a few "owwies" along the way...we had a GREAT weekend! Kaden took his first tube ride with his daddy, which he LOVED! He did have a little run-in with the fooseball table at the cottage (resulting in his scraped chin) and also got a little excited with a sparkler and grabbed it when it was done sparking (causing a small burn on his hand). He was pretty tough about both of them...but I didn't feel like the world's best mommy taking him for his 18 month check-up this morning! As everyone says when they see Kaden this summer...he is getting more and more blonde! It is true, and we have no idea where his white/blonde hair is coming from...
We are enjoying every minute of summer with him, and also counting down the days until Baby #2!
