Between Kaden's birthday parties, we hung out at home and played with Kaden's new toys and just enjoyed time inside the warmth of our house! Here are some pictures of what we've been up to apart from partying...

Playing with his new playdoh factory, in which he can "make" toys and candy out of the playdoh...he could do this every day all day, but we have to set limits that we can only do it when Makenna is napping due to her grabby fingers! :)
Kaden recently proved to us that he was ready to be a BIG BOY by finally doing "the duty" on the toilet every day. Must be the talk about turning 3 and only wearing underwear helped!? :) His reward once this happened was this laptop computer. It has been sitting in a box since this summer when he first was potty trained, then he got sick, which disrupted his "stinkies" (as we call them :)), and we've been waiting since to give him this final reward! He loves to have his own computer like Daddy & Mommy's!
This has also become an activity that we do only when Makenna is napping. She doesn't quite understand why she can't play with her brother's computer, and Kaden can't handle her fingers all over it! This was probably our one and only attempt to have them both do it with Daddy...
Makenna's latest words: hi, sit, up, down, go, books, shoes, socks, Teddy, this, and a few animal sounds (they aren't clearly said, but she sure is talking up a storm lately!)

Playdate with friends & decorating Christmas cookies...Makenna just enjoyed eating the cookies!
